3 Recipes: Enjoy with iced matcha and latte!

I always drink matcha hot.

Sometimes I want to enjoy a matcha latte at home, just like the ones at my favorite café.

Today we have just the thing for you.

We have three typical recipes for you, ranging from the standard iced matcha to a creamy iced matcha latte.

Iced matcha

This basic recipe is a refreshing and easy way to make the hot matcha you enjoy all the time!

It's the perfect drink for a hot afternoon.

The only ingredients for iced matcha are matcha, cold water, and ice.

Simply put, this is a watered-down matcha, but if you want perfect dissolution of matcha, which tends to become lumpy, you will need a cocktail shaker or a jar with a lid.

To be clear, you don't need a special bowl for matcha or a whisk to drink matcha.

It is very easy to make!

Just put 2 teaspoons of matcha powder in a shaker, add 200-300 ml of water and the desired amount of ice, put on the lid and shake. That's it.

Of course, you can add honey or sugar to this iced matcha, but since matcha is meant to be served with sweet foods, please taste it as is at first.

You are the authentic one, and you will be able to fully enjoy the original flavor and aroma of matcha without having to cheat with milk.

Matcha powder: 2 teaspoons

Water: 200-300 ml

Ice: amount to taste

Iced Matcha Latte

After lunch, work settles down, probably around 3:00 PM.

The day lasts a bit longer, but I need to chill out here.

I don't like caffeine. But oh, I need to sleep.

In that case, how about an iced matcha latte to refresh you?

Creamy yet refreshing, make the perfect drink in 3 minutes.

First, prepare 300-350 ml of milk, 2 teaspoons of matcha powder, and 2 teaspoons of honey (or sugar) or vanilla syrup if you have it.

Put them in a shaker or jar and cover it.

Shake thoroughly for 30 seconds to 1 minute, until the matcha is lump-free.

Finally, simply pour over a cup of ice.

The beautiful bright green color will make your afternoon a perfect time.

Of course, it is also delicious hot.

If you double the recipe, you can even store it in the refrigerator for about a week by putting it in an airtight jar.

Give it a try!

Oats milk or almond milk would also work well!

It's okay. Don't panic. Trust us!

You don't want to drink hot on a hot day.
